About Us

POLK COUNTY SCHOOLS is a public school system in Western North Carolina serving approximately 2,500 students.  Our seven schools include one early college, one high school, one middle school and four elementary schools all located in a small mostly rural county in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
